Two Selves Opposed (Poem)

An individual arises,
automatically splitting
into aggressor and condemned.

In one moment
the judge appears,
a different self on trial.

Arising together,
they exit the same way.

Merging again,
revisiting peaceful unity.

Message for Today

A useful meditation is to watch your thoughts come from nowhere and return there. Possessing them is an assumption which empowers them and branches them, ensnaring the "you".
